
Raymond Deutsch
Senior Architect and Community Relations Director
Raymond Deutsch, Westberg + White Architects and Planners, until recently, served continuously on the Board of Directors of the California Space Authority, and was Founding Chairman of the California Space & Technology Alliance (CSTA). An early champion of economic development efforts supporting regional and California space activities, he served on the California Defense Conversion Council and chaired CSTA’s Space Committee, overseeing the development of the 1998 California Space Strategic Plan. In 2003 Ray retired as President of Hall Hurley Deutsch, Architects, Inc., a 19-person firm specializing in educational, institutional, industrial, and research facilities. A native Californian, he grew up in Silicon Valley, and has lived in the Central Coast for the last 38 years. Ray Is married to his wife Becky, has 3 daughters and son, and 2 grandkids. |
