Glenn Avolio
General Manager

Glenn Avolio has been a Santa Barbara area resident since 1973.  He has worked for BEI Industrial Encoders in sales and marketing since 1979 and as General Manager since 1995.  He has been an active board member of the SBTIA since 2002 and has served as Treasurer and Chair of the organization.  He has been a member of several technical organizations and served as Vice President for the Committee to save Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital a group that was instrumental in keeping this important local health resource available to our community.

Glenn has a broad knowledge of industrial manufacturing, as well as sales and marketing and is an advocate for a strong Industrial and Technology presence on the Central Coast. He has published several articles, has presented to the ISA and is a respected expert in his field.  He is a co-founder of Latitude 34 Technologies, an outsourced IT support company.

Glenn and His wife of 37 years have two grown children and a grandchild who also call the Santa Barbara area home.
